Tromsø harbor and city live cam

A live camera from the new Vervet waterfront district looking over Tromsø's harbor, the city center and the mountains, 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle.

Tromsø, on an island between snowy mountains and fjords, is the largest city in northern Norway and one of the best places in the world to see the northern lights. This camera, on top of a building in the new Vervet waterfront district, looks south over the marina and the harbor toward the city center and the mountains beyond.

From late November to mid-January the sun never rises, and the city lights glow in the blue polar night; from late May to late July the midnight sun never sets. On clear, dark winter nights, keep watching the sky above the mountains for the green glow of the aurora.

Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera twice a day.
