Port of Hamburg live cam

A live camera on the Port of Hamburg, where giant container ships and cruise liners sail up the Elbe.

The Port of Hamburg is one of the biggest in Europe, more than 100 kilometers inland on the River Elbe. Locals call watching the ships 'Hafenkino', harbor cinema, and the waterfront between the Landungsbrücken piers and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall is the best seat in the house.

Some of the largest container ships in the world turn in the harbor here, guided by tugboats, and in summer cruise ships arrive almost daily. Each May the port celebrates its birthday with a huge parade of ships.

Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera regularly and hide those that go offline.
