A live camera high on the DN tower looking over Riddarfjärden, the bay at the heart of Stockholm, and the Västerbron bridge.
Stockholm is built on 14 islands, and Riddarfjärden is the stretch of Lake Mälaren that lies between them in the city center. This camera on top of the DN newspaper tower looks across the water toward Riddarholmen, the island next to the Old Town, with the Västerbron bridge in the foreground.
The light here changes dramatically with the seasons: in June the sun barely sets, while in December it is dark by mid-afternoon. In cold winters the bay can freeze over.
Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera regularly and hide those that go offline.
