Kabukicho, Shinjuku live cam

A 4K rooftop live camera over the Kabukicho crossing on Yasukuni Avenue in Shinjuku, Tokyo's famous entertainment district.

Kabukicho, in the heart of Shinjuku, is Tokyo's most famous nightlife district, a dense grid of neon signs, restaurants, karaoke bars and game centers that never really sleeps. This camera, on the roof of the Teikei company headquarters, looks down on the busy crossing on Yasukuni Avenue at the edge of the district.

Watch taxis, crowds of office workers and night owls stream through the crossing, and the lights grow brighter as the evening goes on. Tokyo is 8 or 9 hours ahead of London, so the late-night crowds are out during the European afternoon.

Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera twice a day.
