The official live camera of Shibuya Center Gai, the busy shopping street just steps from the famous Scramble Crossing.

Shibuya Center Gai is the neon-lit pedestrian street that leads off the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, lined with fashion shops, game centers, ramen counters and karaoke bars. This camera, run by the street's own merchants' association, looks down on the main entrance arch.

Tokyo is 8 or 9 hours ahead of London and 13 or 14 hours ahead of New York, so when it is morning in Europe the street is filling up with the evening crowd. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest, and Halloween night is legendary.
