About Walking Atlas

Walking Atlas is a virtual atlas of the world's cities. We bring together the best walking and driving tour videos for each city, so you can explore its streets from wherever you are, and we pair every video with an original guide to the city's history, neighborhoods, top sights and food.

Why we built it

People watch city walking videos for many reasons: to plan a trip, to remember a place they loved, to see a city they may never visit, to relax or fall asleep, or simply out of curiosity. Those videos are scattered across thousands of channels. Walking Atlas organizes them by country and city on a single map, so finding a walk through Tokyo, Lisbon or Istanbul takes seconds.

About the videos

All videos are embedded from YouTube and remain the property of their creators. Every video page credits the channel and links to the original video, so views count for the people who filmed them. If you are a creator and would like a video added or removed, please contact us.
