Hercílio Luz Bridge live cam

A live camera looking at the Hercílio Luz Bridge, the landmark suspension bridge that links the island of Florianópolis with the mainland.

The Hercílio Luz Bridge, opened in 1926, was the first bridge to connect the island of Santa Catarina, where most of Florianópolis lies, to the mainland. After decades closed for restoration, it reopened in 2019, and its steel towers and lit cables are the symbol of the city.

The camera looks over the bridge and the South Bay with the city skyline. Florianópolis, known as 'Floripa', has more than 40 beaches around the island, and in the evening the bridge lights reflect in the calm water of the bay.

Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera twice a day.
