Los Muertos Pier, with its tall sail-shaped spire that lights up at night, is one of Puerto Vallarta's landmarks. It stretches into Banderas Bay from Los Muertos Beach, the busiest beach in the Romantic Zone, the town's old quarter of cobbled streets, bars and seafood restaurants.
Water taxis leave from the pier for the hidden beaches south of town, and fishermen and pelicans gather around it all day. Puerto Vallarta faces west, so the sunsets over the bay are the highlight of every evening; in winter, humpback whales visit the bay.
Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera twice a day.
