St. Peter's Square live cam

The official live stream of Vatican Media from St. Peter's Square, which also carries papal events and ceremonies.

St. Peter's Square, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in the 17th century, is embraced by two great curved colonnades and faces the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. It is technically in Vatican City, the world's smallest country, but surrounded by Rome.

This is the official Vatican Media stream: most of the time it shows the square, and during papal audiences, Angelus prayers and major ceremonies it switches to live coverage.

Live streams sometimes pause for maintenance or bad weather. We check every camera regularly and hide those that go offline.
