Toronto is Canada's largest city and one of the most multicultural places on Earth, with more than half of its residents born outside the country. Its skyline, dominated by the CN Tower, rises over Lake Ontario, and its neighborhoods each have their own character.

Downtown and the waterfront

The CN Tower, 553 meters tall, has a glass floor and an outdoor EdgeWalk around its roof. Nearby, the Harbourfront has parks, galleries and ferries to the Toronto Islands, which offer beaches and the best view of the skyline.

The Distillery District, a pedestrian village of Victorian industrial buildings, is full of galleries, cafés and a famous Christmas market.

Neighborhoods

Kensington Market is a bohemian area of vintage shops and global food, next to Chinatown. Queen Street West is known for fashion and street art, and Yorkville for luxury shopping. Niagara Falls is about 90 minutes away.
