Budapest Walking Tour: Explore Hungary's Capital

Budapest on both banks of the Danube in one long walk. It starts at the Parliament with a yellow tram passing, visits the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial and the riverside promenade, crosses the Chain Bridge and rides the funicular up to Castle Hill, where a folk-art and crafts festival was taking place.

On the Buda side it covers Sándor Palace, Fisherman's Bastion with its view of Parliament, Matthias Church and Buda Castle, then returns to Pest for St. Stephen's Basilica, Vörösmarty Square, Váci Street and the Central Market Hall. The final stretch is in City Park, with Vajdahunyad Castle and the Széchenyi Thermal Bath. Captions add the creator's notes.
