Vienna Walking Tour: Old Town and Attractions

A two-hour walk through the Innere Stadt, Vienna's old town inside the Ringstrasse. It starts on the Graben by the baroque Plague Column, visits St. Stephen's Cathedral and the shopping street of Kärntner Straße, then winds through the old lanes to the Sisi Museum in the Hofburg, St. Michael's Church and the elegant Kohlmarkt.

Later it passes the Stallburg, home of the Spanish Riding School's horses, the monument to Emperor Joseph II and the rose beds of the Volksgarten, before crossing to the Stadtpark and ending at the gates of the Belvedere Palace. Choose it for the imperial centre at an unhurried pace.
