Ho Chi Minh City Walking Tour: The Heart of Vietnam's Largest City

An hour in District 1, the centre of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). The walk starts at Bến Thành Market, follows Lê Lợi Street to the colonial People's Committee Building and the Municipal Theatre, then strolls down Đồng Khởi Street.

It visits the French-era Central Post Office and the shady Book Street next door, passes Diamond Plaza and a small market, circles Turtle Lake and ends at the Independence Palace.
