Westminster Abbey, Parliament and St James's Park

A narrated, light-hearted London walk with a guide who loves anecdotes. It starts in St James's Park with its history, its pelicans and Duck Island, passes the Churchill War Rooms and walks along Birdcage Walk to the quiet Georgian houses of Queen Anne's Gate and the Cockpit Steps.

From Central Hall, with its football World Cup story, it reaches Westminster Abbey, the Supreme Court, St Margaret's Church and the Houses of Parliament, then the Jewel Tower, Smith Square and its old bomb shelters. Along the way you hear tales from the invention of champagne to the fires that destroyed the old Palace of Westminster.
