Hoxton and Shoreditch, East London

A narrated history walk around Old Street, Hoxton and Shoreditch with a cheerful London guide, filmed in 2019. It starts in Bunhill Fields, the old Nonconformist burial ground where William Blake, John Bunyan and Daniel Defoe lie, then visits John Wesley's house and chapel opposite.

From there it finds the site of Shakespeare's Curtain Theatre, tells stories of old Hoxton, and passes St Leonard's Church and the Victorian music hall of Hoxton Hall, ending with a taste of the East End's traditional pie, mash and jellied eels.
