Munich: Beer Gardens and Hidden Spots

A sunny afternoon in Munich a week before Oktoberfest 2026, filmed in HDR. The walk starts on Kaufingerstraße, crosses Marienplatz under the New Town Hall, passes St. Peter's Church and the beer garden at the Viktualienmarkt, and slips into the back alleys towards the Platzl, where the party has already begun.

It continues to Maximilianstraße and Max-Joseph-Platz, through the hidden courtyards of the Fünf Höfe and back to Marienplatz, with plenty of dirndls and lederhosen on the streets, then heads to the Isartor at sunset and finishes via Karlsplatz at the Central Station.
