Istanbul Walking Tour on the Bosphorus

A quiet late-afternoon walk on the European shore of the Bosphorus, filmed on 31 July 2023 from 5:30 pm. It starts on the waterfront at Aşiyan, between Bebek and Rumelihisarı, and spends about half an hour around Rumeli Fortress, the castle Mehmed II built in 1452 at the narrowest point of the strait, before returning along the water.

It is a calm contrast to the busy old city: the focus here is the strait itself and the shoreline promenade rather than bazaars and monuments.
