Istanbul: Two Continents, One City

A four-hour walk through the European side north of the Golden Horn. According to the creator, it begins at Galata Tower, climbs Galip Dede Street to Istiklal Avenue, where a Turkish ice cream vendor puts on the famous show, and reaches Taksim Square with the new Taksim Mosque and Gezi Park.

From there it heads into Nişantaşı, the city's upscale shopping district, and also covers waterfront Karaköy and lively Beşiktaş. There are no chapters, so it works best as a long background video; choose it for modern, everyday Istanbul rather than the monuments of the old city.
