Midnight Rain to Dawn in Asakusa

Asakusa from a rainy midnight to morning, filmed in September 2025. The walk starts at the Kaminarimon gate and the shuttered Nakamise street, passes the Hōzōmon gate to the empty, lit-up Sensō-ji, then wanders the back lanes of Okuyama, Hoppy Street and Denbōin Street.

At dawn it returns to Sensō-ji, follows Asakusa's streets to a view of the Tokyo Skytree, then comes back through Shin-Nakamise to the temple as the morning visitors arrive, with the koi pond, the old Hanayashiki amusement park and Rokku Broadway at the end.
