Walk in the Pearl of the Black Sea: Nessebar

The old town of Nessebar, the UNESCO-listed peninsula on the Black Sea. The walk starts at the sea port, visits the ancient theatre and the churches of St. John Aliturgetos and St. Stephen, and wanders the narrow streets to the main Mesembria Street.

It follows the seaside promenade and coastal path with beach views, then returns through the lanes past St. Sophia, the Holy Saviour and Christ Pantokrator churches and the archaeological museum, leaving through the western fortress wall to the windmill and the statue of St. Nicholas.
