About this video

A warm early-evening walk filmed on 24 June 2026 (about 29°C), starting on Washington Street in DUMBO, the cobbled street famous for its view of the Manhattan Bridge between old warehouses. It drops down to Pebble Beach and the Empire Fulton Ferry lawn on the East River, then continues past Fulton Ferry Landing to Pier 1 of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

From the park the walk climbs the wooden Squibb Park Bridge into Brooklyn Heights and wanders its quiet brownstone streets (Columbia Heights, Cranberry, Willow and Pineapple) before reaching the Brooklyn Heights Promenade with its wide view of Lower Manhattan, ending on Montague Street.
