Boquete, in the highlands of western Panama, is a spring-like mountain town surrounded by cloud forests and coffee farms. It is famous for its Geisha coffee and as a base for climbing Volcán Barú.
Coffee and flowers
Coffee farms offer tours and tastings of Panama's world-famous Geisha coffee. The town's flower festival in January fills it with color.
Nature
Volcán Barú, Panama's highest point, is famous for sunrise views of both oceans on clear days. The Lost Waterfalls trail and the Quetzal Trail lead through cloud forest.
