Driving in Marrakech

A drive around Marrakech outside and along the medina walls, showing the modern city most visitors never see. It starts in the Gueliz district along Avenue Mohammed V, passes Bab Doukkala and the Palace of Congresses, the Cyber Park and the Koutoubia Mosque with its gardens.

It heads out past the airport and residential areas, then returns along the ramparts through the Bab Agnaou gate, past the Royal Palace, the Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the Bahia Palace and the Jewish cemetery to Bab Aghmat. Expect traffic, palm trees and desert dust.
