Downtown Buenos Aires Walking Tour

Downtown Buenos Aires on a busy working day. The walk starts in Montserrat, one of the oldest parts of the city, reaches the Plaza de Mayo and follows the old streets around it before walking the length of Avenida de Mayo, the grand avenue lined with early-20th-century buildings.

Back at Plaza de Mayo it heads north along Reconquista and Bartolomé Mitre streets to the pedestrian Florida Street, then crosses Avenida Corrientes to the Obelisco and finishes in the Tribunales area by the Teatro Colón.
