Venice, Italy 4K Walking Tour

An 11 km loop through Venice on a hot August day (Friday 7 August 2020, from 11:20 am, about 28°C). It starts at the Rialto Bridge, walks along the Grand Canal, and explores the Rialto markets (Campo San Giacomo, Campo Erberia and the fish market) before crossing San Polo to the great Frari basilica.

From Piazzale Roma and the railway station it heads into Cannaregio: the Ponte delle Guglie, the railing-less Ponte Chiodo, the Misericordia and the old Jewish Ghetto. The finale crosses back to a rooftop view over the Grand Canal, then Piazza San Marco, the Campanile, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
