Guangzhou Walk: The Blend of Old Canton and Modern Cityscape

Guangzhou old and new over two sunny April days in 2025 (29–30°C). The first part walks the Beijing Road pedestrian street, with the glass-covered remains of the ancient road beneath it, and visits the Dafo Temple.

The second part explores old Canton around Shangxiajiu pedestrian street and the restored lanes of Yongqing Fang, and the last part is the modern CBD of Zhujiang New Town, from Tianhe Road through the Tianhe South pedestrian street to the grand Huacheng Avenue among the skyscrapers. Route maps appear at the start of each part.
