About this video

A slow walk through medieval Ghent in summer 2025. It starts on St. Michael's Bridge with the view of the city's towers, walks along the Graslei and Korenlei quays, then circles the Gravensteen castle and its square and threads through narrow alleys to the Vrijdagmarkt with the Jacob van Artevelde statue, where a street food festival was on.

It continues past the City Hall to St. Bavo's Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church and St. Michael's Church, and ends in the quiet courtyards of the Great Beguinage of Sint-Amandsberg. Captions add the creator's notes.
